Roxanne,

I loved your attention to detial and the thoroughness of both your poster and museum walk. I especially appreciated your update on you last pillar. I can relate to how thrilling it is to see your sphere of influence increase. I have seen a little of this happening at my own site.
I was curious, is this an actual picture from the school you currently teach at?

Ulises,

Thanks for your thoughtful comments. To answer your question about the photo, it is the welcome photo and video from our school website. I think it was taken some time ago, as things look much different now. It almost looks like an older image from Google Earth.

Reaching out the ELL community is important, especially when trying to form a unified campus. Also, have you found that the modified cell phone policy has helped? I am one to lean towards stricter limited use, but that is a personal preference?

Great work!

Roxanne,
great comment about assume competence not expertise. Many times I expect perfection out of my students as an artist and musician because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my art or performances. That is completely the wrong way for me to think! I forget that they are in my class to learn a skill, not perfect one that they already have.

Very creative! I loved reviewing your commitments for these pillars. It is great that you changed your tardy policy and saw an improvement! What did you do?
Once again, this was a great presentation.

Roxanne, again your creativity and ambition to produce incredible work is on full display with this poster! You definitely thought outside the box and made this poster really come to life with the videos you provided. With the screenshot of your school, it felt like I was walking onto your campus and getting a true experience with how you see your school functioning. This piece could be posted on your school's homepage and would definitely do justice with creating that "welcoming feel" that all schools should strive towards. The videos you selected were great examples that showcase the great things your school is doing. Wonderful and inspiring job you did here!
